Happy Friday friends! I am so excited for the weekend, but what else is new? This week I have spent my days reminiscing on those first few days I brought my new baby home. And to think that he is already a year old totally blows my mind! Who’s ready to see his jungle safari themed birthday party?
Firstly, I was super excited to plan Lincoln’s first birthday party, like I am sure any first time mom is. Secondly, with Pinterest being available with so much inspiration, it’s hard to not get caught up in dream land. HAHA! Am I right? But more importantly, I couldn’t wait to plan a day that was all about celebrating Lincoln’s first YEAR!!! Oh, and food. LOTS of food!
Anyhow, I found a gorgeous jungle safari party on Pinterest that was designed by the super talented Beijo Events that caught my eye! Consequently, my heart was set on creating a jungle safari party!! Go wild little ones, and party like animals!!
I found the most adorable mini jungle animals, ( https://amzn.to/2IYlrzEz) and that was my inspiration for the rest of the party! I used palm leaves as my table runner, ( https://amzn.to/2DyML40) which I think brought in some color and life to the tables without going overboard.

One of my favorite packs of balloons ever included a mix of jungle colors, animals shapes, and animal prints. So fun!! (https://amzn.to/2GKo4DN) It was an easy way to add texture and coordinating colors to our theme!!
